Halfway down the descent there is a great viewing area on the left. This area also leads to a trail descending to an intersection of Hallview Drive and Hunting Ridge Drive.

Description

The trail begins as a steady gravel climb from the trails surrounding Lake Louise. As the trail flattens it also becomes rockier. The trail then begins to descend to Wintonbury Road and becomes more technical. The final descent is the steepest and thinnest section, as the trail bears right to meet up with the Wintonbury Road trailheads in Marion K. Wilcox Park.
