Description

A multi-use, bi-directional trail that climbs from the John Wayne Pioneer Trail: Hyak to Rattlesnake Lake up and around the peak of Mount Washington.

Go up just as far as you want, and then bomb back down, or climb all the way to the top for some great views. There are multiple awesome stops with benches and great views over I-90 to Mailbox Peak. Remember that this is a multi-use trail, and you may encounter runners, hikers, horse riders, and bikers going either direction, so keep an eye on your speed and respect other users.

This is a joint Evergreen / DNR project, additional information can be found here.

The first lookout of Mt. Si. Great spot for a snack and brew. Often a good turn around point for some.
