Road is closed to cars during the winter.

Description

A dirt forest service road, used to transition between various trails such as Musser Hill Trail, LaGrange Ditch Trail, and Shasta Springs Trail. Vehicle traffic is light, but can increase during deer hunting season, September through October.

The road is closed to cars beginning about a 1/2 mile up from Highway 3 for the months of November through April.

About a 1/4 mile up from Highway 3 is a popular area for locals to do some target shooting.
