Description

Thank the miners for the flumes they built. After a fun, easy section through trees, this trail flows to a section of the flumes. Watch for an 8' quick climb to the top edge of the flume. From here, the trail makes an immediate jog to the right, which, taken too fast, you'll find yourself off the trail down a loose slate slope. This trail meanders through a meadow before crossing a bridge and starting to climb.

After a switchback, the trail passes mining memorabilia while going through a wooded section. The trail follows the flume through a miner-cut notch and then switchbacks toward the Snake River Bluff trail. The trail at this point is on top of the flume edge, which is narrow with a steep drop to one side.

I would consider myself to be a novice to intermediate MTB rider. There were a few sections of the singletrack that were steep. I had to walk them. 1.1mi
