Description
This trail starts at the end of Lake Loop via Lake Connector, it also has a trailhead that can be accessed to the right of the Safari Loop trailhead. The trail ends at the west side of the parking lot.
This trail has a good mix of hard pack dirt and rooty sections. It is much more technical than the other trails at sister grove. There are plenty of man made features (most of which have a bypass). Man made features include a few jumps throughout the trail and logs placed in areas to cross over. There is also an armored spillway (much smaller than the one on lake loop).
This trail has 2 expert lines. Both are much more difficult than the rest of the trail, proceed with caution. The expert sections are marked with a sign and have a bypass route. The expert sections are to the right and the bypasses are to the left. The first expert section is at about 1/3 of a mile in to the trail. The second expert section is near the end at about 2 miles into the trail.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
