Overview

Most of this loop is level with a few mounds to go over. One of the mounds reminded me of the roller coaster in Alafia but smaller. Overall, the route is well-marked, though it may be too wet to ride in the rainy season.

Need to Know

Look for the green "Bike/Hike" arrows that mark the loop.

Description

This ride heads through Carlton Reserve in Venice, Fl. Others might call this loop easy but for this 64-year-old, it was a good workout. The ride uses the singletrack BoldlyGo Trail and Red Trail to mile marker 7.9. After that, the Red Trail becomes wider and faster. There are two short wood bridges along the BoldlyGo Trail to look out for with access to a few other trails in the area, a kiosk, restroom, and parking.

Went here cause CRP was closed. Currently flooded...it's rideable but out of respect to the trail builders I stayed off. Give it 3 days.
