Description

Mordor is a classic singletrack cruise through the woods. There are minimal obstacles and encroaching vegetation. In the winter and after rain, the trail can be sloppy or even hold puddles, particularly on the flatter western half.

From the west, Mordor begins as an even singletrack pedal through open woods. As the trail continues, it slowly but surely steepens. It also becomes rougher and entrenched in areas.

The intersections with Cut-off and Service Road 1920 are passed in quick succession as you head for the eastern end of the trail. Here, the entrenching intensifies making it feel like you're riding in a deep rut at times.

Mordor ends at the four-way intersection with Lower Mirkwood and Service Road 1910.
