Do not ride when wet. The combination of leaves and mud on the trail makes it very dangerous.

Description

This descent starts from the top of Kahakapao Loop and goes through the green Makawao Forest until it ends right at the beginning of the Ravine.

There are a lot of roots along the way so it gets pretty slippery when wet. The trail is more like old school singletrack with very few jumps. At some point, you'll end up in a pine tree forest which changes the view dramatically.

There are just a few opportunities to catch air, but this one is more about exploring the forest than bombing down and flying like crazy. There are a few flat spots where you'll need to pedal.

Try combining it with the Ravine and Tweener for a complete singletrack ride to the parking lot.
