Description

To access this trail, go around the gate off Ridge Road. This is also the entrance to the Lollipop Trails.

Continue straight ahead for 50 yards, looking to the left for the 4X4 sign post just before a camping site. Follow the trail to its end on Fegley Road (a gated doubletrack). The trail crosses Rocky Knob Trail (foot traffic only).

The trail has several rock gardens that will challenge your bottom bracket. There are several short, steep climbs and one short, but dangerously steep, descent.

The rocks are, for the most part, partially-exposed, large boulders that are firmly in place. They often have sharp angles or large drops or inconvenient spacing. All of the challenges are easy to walk or climb over.

Overall, this is a very challenging but beautiful trail.

One of the flatter technical rock gardens. You'll need precise wheel placement for the best results.

On this steep and rocky descending switchback on Camps Trail, it can help to flick around your back wheel.
