This trail is home to the "Viking Ship," a constructed, wooden step on to a step off. These are mandatory gaps and need to be looked at before an attempt is made.

The trail winds through the woods and hits a row of berms made out of root mounds from the historic tornado. Get in the flow of the berms and make sure to hit the berm to rock jump that gaps you toward a skinny. Roll it or jump it, but get through to a few more tight whip berms and pick through a pointy rock garden without a great line before you make a turn around the point. From here, suffer your way back to the top and meet up with the rest of the loop.
