I started this route at the very top, coming off of Atwood Road. There is no parking on Atwood Road. You'll probably connect with this trail from one of the other trails at the top.

Description

This trail hugs the cliff of the Coyote Wall as often as it can. Occasionally it will overlap the ghost of a nearby doubletrack before snaking back out to the edge.

This trail is mostly very narrow and steep and the turns are usually cut pretty deep. Much of it is very close to the edge of the Coyote Wall, which has a drop of several hundred feet, which makes this trail all the more dangerous. This is a trail to be careful on! Sections can be easily walked if necessary, just make sure to dismount carefully if you're by the edge.

Other than a map at the parking lot, there is no signage in the Coyote Wall Trail system. It's not too easy to get lost, but be sure to download the MTB Project mobile app, bring a map.
