The top of the Lynn Skinner Trail is near the water tower on Humbug Trail and empties onto Kid's Trail. This trail is not very difficult and is mostly a straight descent with a few narrower sections. There are a couple ways to start Lynn Skinner Trail. The signed starting point goes around the bottom of a little hill; however, the hill is starting to slide onto the trail and can be a bit of a sketchy start (as of late Jan 2016). It is recommended that you start a little further to the west (past the water tower) to avoid the part where the hill is eating the trail.
The trail surface is hardpack. This trail gets muddy with rain, and has a few section where small creeks pass in the wet months. The trail is open hikers, dogs, bikes, horses, and runners- so be careful. Have fun!
