Some areas are closed when wet, usually Red Panther. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Overview

A nice ride with something for everyone. The trails are well-marked with bailouts along the way. There are 7 trails that make up this ride are all one-way trails so please follow the directional signs for each trail as some change direction daily.

Description

Hoot Owl is the start of the ride. It is a one-way trail that starts from the north end of the parking lot and winds through the trees. It is a good singletrack and not too tough. Hoot Owl leads to an intersection wtih the three other trails in the park, Screaming Hawk which is the easiest, Red Panther which is the most technical, and Racoon Run which is a little technical.

From Hoot Owl, continue onto Screaming Hawk which is a nice singletrack trail. You can also access it from trailhead B which bypasses Hoot Owl. There is nothing too hard or technical on Screaming Hawk, but it is a good trail and lots of fun. This trail winds around the northern end of the park before connecting back to the intersections with Hoot Owl where you'll continue straight onto Red Panther.

Red Panther is a difficult trail at Chuck Lennon Park. It's a nice technical trail with roots, punchy climbs, and nice tight singletrack. It is not for everyone, but it is a real singletrack and a fun ride. Once you loop back around to the north, continue onto Racoon Run which loops back to the parking lot to finish out your ride.

Once back at the main trailhead, you can try the newest trail called Wild Turkey. It's a very difficult trail that should be only ridden by advanced riders.

There's also a small pump track by the main trailhead for you or the kids to play on.

All of the trails are well marked, easy to follow, and a great ride. Enjoy!
