Description

The loop encircles the Pavia Overlook and Intersections #6* (Connector to the Mountain View Trail) and #5 (Connector to Three Springs) and is most often accessed from Intersection #7 ( Three Springs).

The Lookout Loop can be ridden clockwise or counter-clockwise. It's one of the most popular trails in the park for hikers and mountain bikers thanks to the beautiful view at the lookout. Though it's tempting to let your speed creep up in this section, please be courteous to your fellow trail users. Keep in mind that one of the other highlights of this trail is the long technical rock garden where your tires won't see dirt for over 100 yards.

*For intersection #'s reference the Blue Knob State Park Map.
