Description

This climb begins from Intersection #11* with the Mountain View Trail and continues to Intersection #7 near Willow Springs and the Lookout Loop.

This is a dirt and gravel road that provides the only way to climb to the very top of the mountain other than riding the paved road or pushing your bike up the "Roller Coaster" or "Beaver Dam" sections of Mountain View. Multi-directional, this trail is also used by novice riders as a safer way down from the top than descending the more technical Mountain View Trail. The climb starts off gradually and gets steeper after a left bend before really kicking up to high grades at the top.

*For intersection #'s reference the Blue Knob State Park Map.
