With glimpses of San Francisco and Golden Gate Bridge at the top and views to the Pacific, the trail follows a ridge then begins dropping down in sweeping turns and a few tight ones to Gerbode Valley below and to the right. The road is smooth and well-maintained, but you'll wonder about the program to make trails that ride fast then impose a 15 mph speed limit. The trail flattens at the bottom so let off the brakes and keep the momentum to the junction with Rodeo Valley and Miwok Trail - Bunker Rd to Wolf Ridge.
