A great long climb out of Ohiopyle. Rocky, steep, and full of slimy water bars.

Description

From Ohiopyle, ride upstream on the Great Allegheny Trail for about 100 yards to the Middle Yough Takeout. Sugarloaf and Baughman Trail start on your right side. Stay right at the fork immediately after you get on the singletrack to climb Sugarloaf Trail. It's a steep, hard climb to the top of the mountain.

Make a big day by climbing all the way to Upper Sugarloaf Trail , continuing onto McCune Trail then descending back to town on Baughman Trail, or cross Sugarloaf Road at the start of Baughman for a sweet hour and a half loop.
