Description

This is a wide, smooth trail that branches off of the Newton Brainerd Road trail and heads south. There is a new tree fall at the beginning of the trail that has a ride around. After that, it is a gentle climb for 0.4 miles.

The trail then starts a slow descent that picks up into a fast smooth downhill section that has a slight berm. The trail cuts hard to the right at the bottom of the hill where there is a tree fall that has been built up so it is easy to clear.

After clearing the tree, the trail continues slightly downhill. You can use your momentum to branch uphill and off to the right onto a singletrack section.

After the singletrack, the trail opens up again and continues downhill ending in a stream crossing. Depending on the time of year and weather, the stream will vary from two to twelve inches deep.

After crossing the stream, you'll join up with the Talcott Reservoir Flood Control Dyke.
