Description

This is the furthest-back loop from the trailhead. By now, become accustomed to 30 exposures. This primo section is a 6 mile loop back to the bridge. You might want to do it again if the legs allow back through the Snake Pit and across Lone Tree hill. If not it is all new trail back to the trailhead. At L you enter the Birdy Loop, one of the features on the novice loop. Its not technical (unless you try to ride it fast it will hurt you). It is embedded in dense junipers on very mild terrain. After the Birdy Loop, it's the Home Stretch for a sweet last mile of mashing.

Some of these ledges can be tricky when the wind is blowing 20+mph out here.
