The trails on Beacon Hill and Camp Sekani utilize areas of public and private property. Respect boundaries and stay on the trails so that these locations continue to be a great area to bike in Spokane.

Description

Construction of this trail started late 2014 and is now finished. Look for the start of the trail near the SW corner of the summit area.

At the bottom of Pop Rocks you can take a right onto Scooby Snacks (a short connector trail) and if you follow the road down a little ways you can link into the Esmeralda Trail.

Pop Rocks embraces the natural rock formations along the South Ridge on Beacon Hill. Nature's rock goodness has been augmented with even more chunk along the way. Although it's an intermediate trail, Pop Rocks has lots of advanced options like drops and steep rock faces. It even has an optional step-up below the Gnarwhal (large rock face).

Best ridden once to scope things out and then keep coming back to smash the rocks and boulders.

Caution: a portion of the trail crosses a rock slab with a steep cliff drop to the side.
