Snow can make the trail impassable during the winter.

Description

This is an old-school singletrack descent off the ridge and down to Tottens Pond. The trail traverses the ridge in the beginning with many ups and downs and then steeply descends with many switchbacks. Near the bottom you'll take a Left and go down a steep and rocky section. There are a number of small drops and roots that can really trip you up, so be careful! The last section is very challenging and is the hardest part of the ride, definitely a behind the seat section.

Eventually you'll reach another fork where you'll want to stay Left. This brings you to the bottom of the trail and over the creek on a short bridge. From here, the trail is a very easy cruise out to the road along the shore of the pond.

When the trail is wet the roots can be very, very slippery, so make sure you are cautious.

Tottens is GATED at the bottom with barbed wire, cameras, and multiple signs. Hike up 50-ish feet and look left for an unofficial out to Sundown.
