Description
The Saints Johns Trail (#9035) is located 2 miles east of the Summit County Shooting Range adjacent to the landfill along County Road 65, an gravel access road. Ride east from the range, climbing initially then descending in and out of one drainage. Top out and descend to a second drainage.
The trail begins in this drainage on the right side of the road, over a small berm. There is a brown, carsonite marker post with the #9035 designation marking the beginning of the trail. The trail descends a loose, rocky, technical track on the slopes north of US Highway 6. Near the end of the trail, pass the Keystone Center on the right then descend to Sts. John's Road.
This trail is most frequently referred to as the Saints Johns Trail; however a marker at the bottom of the trail identifies it as Incline Trail, and current USGS mapping identifies the trail as Summit Fat Tire Society Trail #66W.2T. There is a brown carsonite #9035 marker at the bottom of the trail as well.
