Description

This trail starts at the end of the Little Mare Trail and goes straight up Brushy Mountain for short but very steep hike a bike section. Follow the blue blazes. Once at the top, it's all downhill! The trail opens up into an old forest fire area that is now covered in blueberry bushes. Stop for a sweet treat when in season.

The trail is fast and flowing as it weaves down the mountain and eventually pops out on a fire road. Take the road to the right to continue the downward track. The singletrack trail will then be on the right and dive back down into the trees with Blue and yellow blazes. The singletrack will come to an over grown doubletrack road, stay left on the yellow blaze. The trail will come to an opening with wood gates/fence on the right and a less traveled trail bearing left. Take a right turn to pop out on the Smith Creek road.
