Description

The Holiday Valley Race loop is host to the Wednesday night series and the annual Fall Fest race. Being a ski area, the loop primarily consists of a large climb, a traverse across the top, and then the payback: the downhill.

The downhill starts at the top of the Tannenbaum chairlift and actually starts down the top of the Tannenbaum ski trail. It quickly darts left into the spruce for some rooty singletrack before doubling back around, crossing Tannenbaum again and making its way across several other ski slopes. Many sections are fall line so you can pick up quite a bit of speed. This trail rewards those with great bike handling skills.

The trail ends at the Holiday Valley Mountain Sports center. This is an alternate place to park to access the trails, with the race loop heading up the 2-track cat trail off to the east.
