Description

From the 4 Corners area just NW of Cherry Gap & Hwy 180 ride NW towards the Chicago Stump. On your way, before you make a noticeable 90* left turn, look North for a breathtaking view across the Converse Basin. Once at the singletrack (marked with a sign) near the Stump be sure to watch for folks on foot.

Imagine finding a tree so large that it dwarfed the tallest building known at the time. Before it became the Chicago Stump, the General Noble Tree was the largest tree ever cut. It would have taken about 18 men with arms outstretched to complete a tree hug.
