Description

Spring Brook North Loop begins from Fowler Trail, but the North/South loop is generally used as follows.

The Spring Brook Loop is almost equally good in both directions, but we prefer riding clockwise because the smooth twisty bits through the trees are fun and flowy in this direction.

Riding clockwise, Spring Brook Loop North starts halfway around the loop at a marked intersection. The previously mentioned twisty bits start right here! Wind your way back and forth on short snappy turns until you eventually start to emerge from the forest. You'll start to take in expansive views across the plains to the Flatirons. To your left (west), you'll have a great perspective of the foothills, and may even see a train climb up towards the Continental Divide.

The trail winds around back to the east and then south to meet up with Spring Brook Loop South and the start of the loop.

Stay away!, the rain we had on Christmas Day turned the lead up to Springbrook Loop into an unreliable peanut butter mess as of Friday afternoon.

Ride DH and experience one of the most majestic views on the edge of the great plains. Twisty and fun. Try to look up and left.
