A fun connection of bits of trail for a great whole loop in North Boulder.

Christopher Roberts

Overview [Suggest Changes]

This loop is a link up of a few segments of trail. It has a short, fast (especially with a tail wind) section of road riding followed by some fun, off-the-beaten-path riding on an open space corridor.
Features: -none- [Add/Remove]
Family Friendly: Well-maintained singletrack would make this a great ride for an intermediate/beginner or younger rider.
Dogs: Leashed

Description [Suggest Changes]

Start at the Boulder Valley Ranch trailhead. Ride north on the Left Hand trail to the picnic shelter. Then go east on the singletrack which intersects with Neva Road. Ride Neva to Golf Club Drive and head south.

Across from Nicklaus Ct., jump on the grassy North Rim trail heading east. Follow this trail between fences and up a short but steep hill onto Sage. From here, the trail intersects the Eagle trail and the choices of where to go abound.

We rode up the grinder hill on the Boulder Valley Ranch trail. Enjoy.

Nothing exciting about this ride, just a nice, gentle evening cruiser for after work.

A few fun downhill sections (nothing technical), but also lots and lots of boring flat slog along pasture fence lines. May 2, 2017
