Overview

This is a local favorite, especially in the hot summer months due to the frequent stream crossings. It has huge views with a true backcountry feal. There can me lots of moose along trail along with other big game. Low traffic so be prepared for everything.

Need to Know

There are multiple stream crossings along Red Creek. Plan on getting a little wet even late summer. Travel is in bear country as well.

Description

Ride up Little Pine aka Spooky Trail. When you connect with Corral Creek, continue on to the right (this is the point the loop will bring you back to). Continue on Corral Creek until you get to the Red Creek trail junction. The junction is after the really fun downhill.

Take a left and prepare for multiple stream crossings. When you hit the doubletrack go left uphill. The doubletrack is fun with little rollers throughout. Watch for the Corral Creek trail to pick up on the left and take it back up to Spooky Trail. Ride Spooky Trail back to the car for a fun final downhill.

Definitely for the advanced mountain biker and a few hike a bike spots. Wouldn’t recommend any kids unless they are super strong 10mi

Stream crossings are all rideable. Double track is moon dust. Fun & challenging. 9.4mi — 2h 04m
