Description

The Hurl is the trail to test your climbing and descending skills in very rough terrain. There are no big drops, but a great many rocky obstacles that require almost constant attention.

This test piece can be ridden in either direction - if you're starting from the town of Blue Diamond climb, "Puke Hill" then turn right onto The Hurl. This way (IMO) the climb is impossible without a good bit of walking, those with super human skills can reduce the walk time I am sure. If you're starting from the Hwy 160 side, the climb is possible, even by mortals. Either way the descent is memorably enjoyable.

This is one ride where an adjustable seat post will be appreciated.

Well designed route. The climb was type 2 fun (pushing the bike while sliding down). The view at the top was rewarding. Descent was technical fun!
