Heading east from trail 20, this connector trail starts with a gradual climb through the oaks that quickly turns into a short steep section. The trail is fairly gradual after that with some downhill and uphill with some minor ruts. The vegetation turns from Coast Live Oak to Manzanita.

The trail crosses Addington Road and intersects with trail 16 before running into trail 15
