The southern of the two Baby Steps Singletrack Loops is shorter and not quite as good as the northern one, but it's still a lot of fun. This one is all singletrack dirt with no slickrock, and it wiggles its way around small drainages and rock features. It's mellow and enjoyable intermediate riding.

Be careful finding the beginning. Look for the prominent trailhead sign and don't be tempted by tire tracks going off on suspicious trails. They do actually link up to this trail, as it comes extremely close to Baby Steps Loop 4x4, but stick to the designated route.
