Awesome trails and terrain for the Middle Georgia Area!

Cal Till

Overview

Riders must wear helmets, also there is a $3 fee to enter the park but IMBA members with a volunteer pass gain free admission (so join up and check with the local OMBA club on details of how to get your volunteer pass!)
This trail system was originally developed back in 2001 but was destroyed by the Mother's Day tornado of 2008. Through the hard work of the Ocmulgee Mountain Bike Association and Bibb County, the trail system has been redesigned and rebuilt. The new trail opened up 2 years ago (2011) and is better than ever! This is some of the most demanding singletrack in Middle Georgia with great climbs and fast downhills. The park also offers lake access and camping.

Description

There are two loops that are well marked, a Beginner loop as well as an Advanced loop. The Beginner loop takes out a couple of the longer climbs but it's still a challenging ride. To reach both trail heads you'll take the first paved road to your left once you enter the part, at the bottom of the hill you'll see the trail kiosk with the Advanced trail starting to the left of the bathrooms. To reach the Beginner trailhead you'll need to ride up the road a few hundred feet and you'll see the trailhead on your left.

Look for an additional 3 or so miles of trail to be built in the next year!

Trail ride at best. Has a intermediate skill rating but that's a pretty far stretch. Good for a quick lap while here for work. 6.8mi

Decent ride. Lots of short punchy climbs. Some of the fall line trail needs a little TLC. 8mi — 1h 40m

The trail is dry and fast enjoy! May 6, 2014
Rode these trails yesterday and had some good fun. They are surprisingly varied and well maintained for the most part although there are some signs of reading and erosion. Good elevation, can get a little grindy at times, up N down. Pretty well Marked also. Decent facilities and a $2 cover charge. I would definitely ride here again. Nov 28, 2016
