This trail follows close to the south ridgeline of Verdi Peak, taking you nearly to the peak before connecting to a final fire road climb. The trail is open to motos so it will be busy and dusty on weekends. This trail goes into somewhat remote territory and can be hot in the summer, so bring plenty of water and food along. There is a fire lookout tour on Verdi Peak with great views. You'll earn your views with the long climb and a final fire road section that is a very rocky ride and not an easy climb.
