Overview

Great place to work on cornering. And the rollercoaster to the North is a great chance to cruise!

Description

Start at the Black Forest Regional Park parking lot (the southern-most parking lot) and bike north. Stay on the gravel trails going just past the log cabin house by about a quarter mile.

You'll reach a small flat spot and see two singletrack entrances on your right.

Take the 2nd of those entrances and follow it all the way down to the parking lot.

Bike back up the gravel trails to the same spot as before, but this time take the 1st singletrack entrance. Instead of taking this to the parking lot, exit when you meet with the gravel trail, and take this trail SW, and it will turn NW into a climb.

Climb to the top of this gravel trail, and take a right onto the pikes peak loop. Keep an eye out for a pretty sweet jump nearby and you ride east. Continue east until the trail turns north. Then follow the Pikes Peak loop all the way around.

At about 8.5 - 9 miles into your journey (you should see houses on your left and be traveling back East), keep an eye for a singletrack entrance on your right. At this point, follow the map to stay on the longest part of this singletrack before crossing the road.

Once you've crossed the road, head on back to the parking lot hitting some short singletrack sections along the way.

Trails merge here. You'll see a metal bench seat. If looking to ride the big Pikes Peak loop stay right of the bench and head East.
