Need to Know

Alpha Beta is the easier of the two trails that access Highland Area Hub 2. Uncle Joey's also connects Highland Area Hub 1 to Hub 2 but is more difficult riding. Remember Alpha Beta is a bi-directional trail so if you encounter uphill riders they have the right of way.

Description

From the Highland Area Hub 1, take the trail to the left of Tuck and Roll. Alpha Beta starts as a fast, flowy descent. The first switchback is super steep and exposed so watch your speed. Once you are past the first switchback, most of the turns are more mellow so you can let off your brakes a bit if you like. Continue descending into the gully and enjoy the occasional G-Out.

After a nice long flowy descent, begin climbing. You'll notice you are climbing an obvious downhill flow trail as the berms start to get bigger. In this is a short section you may encounter riders going downhill quickly. The sight lines are good so just be aware that you may encounter downhill traffic until you reach the Highland Area Hub 2.

Arrive at the Highland Area Hub 2 and plan your next move.
