Description

East Ridge is a wide access road/trail as an alternative to Toyon Ridge trail.

There is plenty of room for two-way traffic (so can be used as a climbing trail if desired) and be aware that because it exits directly into the parking lots, there can be a number of hikers using this route too.

The start of the trail is clearly marked at the junction with Toyon Ridge , and initially there is one steeper/rough section to navigate (less experienced riders can easily ride to either side of the rough centre portion) before the trail continues to flow downhill on an easy wide trail.

Towards the bottom there is a steeper switch back right-left descent and the trail then narrows for a short distance through the trees, before finally emerging into the parking lot.
