Super unique, rocky trail with epic views of Fallen Leaf Lake and Lake Tahoe. Incredibly cut by TAMBA, amazing rock work especially through the huge rock landslide. Different than most trails around in the area. A must do. Initially climbing from the Angora Lakes trailhead, the first quarter mile or so is standard Tahoe forest and duff. Alter the climb, the trail begins an increasingly technically difficult descent, with loose boulders and very steep drop offs on switchbacks. There are several spots where some riders may elect to walk. From the Fallen Leaf side, this a popular trail for hikers as well so take caution on blind corners.
