Need to Know

This is an active water tank in use at the top of the ridge. There's an annoying, but harmless, PA announcement if you hang out at the West water tank area too long.

Description

After making the climb up Rose Hills Fire Rd/Sumac Trail, this is a great ridge track to the West water tank, a short 10 min ride. You get a wonderful view of LA, and there's some small drops that anyone can do. It's a good test for rider and bike to shake out any issues before hitting the other trails around. I take newbies to this trail and everyone loves it!
