Description

Not the most technical of trails in Downieville, but a good option to ride after a larger loop up in the high country. Fast straight aways alongside Empire Creek itself. Ferns, pines, and loam mixed with volcanics just as much of the rest of the region is. Doesn't get snow as early as butcher and upper divides do.
