Description

This is a bi-directional trail in the Denison Biological Reserve featuring 127 feet of vertical in about half a mile. If ridden to get from White Tail Loop to Norpell Woods Loop Trail, this trail starts with a steep and somewhat technical climb. Depending on line choice, this can be a very rooty climb. When dry, the trail can also be difficult to get traction on.

After the initial climb, the grade mellows out but there are still sizeable roots present. If coming down from Norpell Woods Loop Trail to White Tail Loop, this trail is a fun descent. Switching off of this trail onto Flying Squirrel Trail for the descent is a bit more fun and features a longer (albeit less steep) descent.
