Description

At the intersection of Norpell Woods Trail (NWT) and Ovenbird Trail, taking a right will result in a short, somewhat rooty downhill ending in a sharp left turn. Continuing along, several roots keep the trail interesting as well as a large rock in the middle of the trail around a blind curve. The trail continues into a rooty but short climb, before heading back to the start. Be careful not to turn right onto Ovenbird Trail, as bikes are not allowed in the Taylor Ochs section of the Bio Reserve.

Eventually, you'll come to an intersection- take the trail to the right for a quick downhill followed by an uphill back to the intersection. Take the trail to the left for one of the more technical routes in the Bio- this path is typically covered in pine needs and contains many large roots. This won't be a challenge for an experienced ride, but will keep the trail interesting! This trail is best ridden in this direction (riding the NWT counter clockwise).
