There is parking and restrooms at the McCullough Hills trailhead.

Description

Trail has both-way traffic, but recommended from south to north. It can be tricky to find, but the 601 Trail will take you there.

If taking the McCullough Hills trail southbound, turn left when it meets the 601 Trail. You can go all the way around, through Purple Nurple, Nitro Super G, or the Nitro Canyon Wash Up. There are a few ways, so plan your route as the trails split often. The trail is not marked but it should easy to follow.

It can get pretty fast and flowy. The trail can be very dry and parts of it are loose. About halfway, it will come to a hill that has a steep drop on the backside. Nitro Bench itself forks left and goes around. If you are a beginner, that drop can be a bit much. The rest of the trail has few obstacles and a few small jumps that can be bypassed.
