Description

The trail begins along Charles Hagermann Way about half-way out the the road to The Rock Athletic Field complex. Look for an approximately 6' tall post with the trail name on it.

It then basically runs straight down the hill to Trace Fork where it terminates on a dirt road that runs along the creek. It is not particularly rocky, just steep and rutted in spots. Just after dropping off the road, it intersects Battery Trail and half way down intersects Rocky Ridge Trail. There is a natural gas seep in the creek at the bottom of the trail that bubbles -- hence the trail name.
