Description

Created in the fall of 2019, the Bonsai Loop doubled the mileage of trail at Highland. At the initial fork, head left and climb the hillside traverse passing a tree growing from a crack in a boulder giving the trail its name.

In no time, you'll pop out to the eastern ridge and have views in all directions. Drop into a quick rollercoaster descent before climbing again underneath a sandstone overhang. Enter a tight squeeze of large boulders and an intermediate rock roll before reconnecting to the start of the loop
