Description

This trail begins across the road from the same parking lot as Ship Rock Trail, and starts about 25 yards from the end of Ship Rock, in a field.

The trail goes up a sloped field and comes to a split off right before the woods. Go left to go on a cool 0.1-mile jump section that circles back to below the split off. Go straight to get started in the woods.

The trail is like a roller coaster, with small up and downs and moving all around. Some jump opportunities. It crosses an access trail. Stick to the singletrack.

Eventually, it pops out into a field. Follow the jump section that comes up. The trail continues on the side on this small tall hill. Ahead is a split off. Go right to catch a big jump, or go left up the small hill to the top. Like a roller coaster, shoot down on this steep hill. Another split off is at the bottom. Go left for singletrack, or go right to your choice of two steep rocky sections next to each other. (Previous split off meets on the trail to the drops.)

After the drops, it joins the singletrack. Up ahead turn left and to the left and find the trail to head for the woods. Follow it into a twisty section in the forest. You'll pop out at the power line right of way and continue on the singletrack for some more roller coasting. The trail ends on a bombing downhill to Ship Rock. Go left to get back to the field where it starts.

Have fun and live to see the next trail!
