The trail starts at the top of the parking lot above Rifugio Bassano, at the foot of the steps to the Monte Grappa Memorial. It was built in WW1 as a mule track.
The trail starts horizontally, the slope is mostly moderate and the ground not too rocky. So you have to decide if you want to enjoy the view or ride faster. This path ends at a rocky ridge. There is a junction.
The mule track continues downward in a much harder and rocky section to the left. Straight on is a rocky ridge, "Cresta dei Lebi".
