Description

From the description on the park map... "First half of trail from trailhead is level and follows Mann's Creek. Second half of trail is VERY steep and a difficult climb connecting to the Ridge Top Trail." Actually, the first half of the trail seems to be in Mann's Creek or at least extremely muddy but it is level. The second half of the trail is indeed very steep and a difficult climb (or descent) because it heads straight down the fall line and is it also appears that its usual state is also extremely muddy.

If you're connecting from Ridge Top Trail, consider taking a left at the intersection to bypass this trail instead. If you're coming from Narrow Gauge Trail, the park road is probably a better option to connect with Ridge Top Trail or Twin Hollow Trail.
