Description

At the north end, this trail starts at the Powerline Road #1, not far from the north preserve boundary. It seems to be a continuation across the powerline of the Dove Valley Trail.

The first 3 miles down to the intersection with the Axle Grease Trail is fairly straight, downhill, and fast. It is a lot of fun, but a little caution is advised to watch out for other traffic. Crossing a few humps in the trail, a rider can potentially get some air.

At the intersection with Axle Grease, the Axle Grease Trail continues forward, while the West Express veers to the left (due south). From here, the trail is twisty and winds through some rocky spots. It provides access to the technical riding area via the Dara Sarah trail. The trail begins to go southwest and terminates at the Latigo Trail.
