This is a wider, almost doubletrack "short-cut" across the bottom of the peninsula that spans the entire width of the area. It is an easy ride, wide and mostly flat the entire length, crossing the main fire road and the Old Liberty Road Shoreline South on both sides, and ending in a cleared area with a log that almost acts as a seated viewing area to the reservoir!

The only challenge is that this is not a frequently biked trail, and tends to be more overgrown and has a fair bit of tree fall to avoid.
