Need to Know

Park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle. Shoulder parking on Southside Drive near Bridalveil Fall.

Description

Starting from the Bridalveil Fall trailhead on Southside Drive, the Valley Loop Trail forks to the left (east) and starts up a rocky climb that most will walk but once past this section the trail is fairly smooth and fast with a few rocks and fallen tree obstacles but very rideable.

There'll be more hikers the closer you get to the east end and the busier part of the park. The trail can be part of a Yosemite Valley Loop or as an out-and-back from either end. The east end connects with the Yosemite paved bike trail system.
